Bound and unbound spirits do exist.
“Bound” spirits are spirits that are too dangerous to allow to roam free and had to be locked away. Unbound spirits are free to roam where ever they wish.
Bound spirits like really dark ones that could destroy worlds or whole groups of people, that could bring about or cause an apocalypse. Some people that are several Fallen Angels that have bee bound or locked away.
Unbound spirits like ghosts, guardians, light spirits, even demons that are not too dark all roam the planet and other dimensions/worlds/realities, and can go & do whatever.
