What is Supernatural?

Supernaturalism is a belief in an otherworldly realm or reality that, in 1 way or another is commonly associated with all forms of religion.

It has been around for a very very long time, in one form or another. In both main stream religion & paganism, in movies and TV shows, books, & so much more.

It can easily be combined with religion & philosophy, and sometimes science.

Brief History:In the beginning of the “1880s, when British researchers such as Frederic Myers, Oliver Lodge, Richard Hodgson, and William James applied their scientific backgrounds to the psychic realm, using “Mrs. Piper,” a famous medium of the era, as their favorite subject. A new generation of scholars investigated supernaturalism in the early years of the 20th century followed by yet another group of researchers after World War I, with the methods of testing telepathy and clairvoyance considered widely improved.” About the mid-1930s, some 40 experimental studies wereon psychic research. The results were mixed & no definitive proof of anything. The only thing that could be agreed on was that more research was needed.

Thus the research continues.
