HOW TO SET UP YOUR ALTAR

The above image is a basic altar setup. BUT YOU CAN SETUP YOUR ALTAR IN ANY WAY YOU WISH!

Here are a few steps to create your own:

1.) Chose your space

2.) Cleanse & Consecrate the altar space as well as anything you put onto the altar.

3.) The equipment , either buy or use things that you already have. Like: bowls, cups, and other kitchen ware. Or even make your own.

4.) Chose something that represents the 4 or 5 elements.

5.) Chose candles

6.) Chose your gods, goddesses, demons, or whoever you worship or believe in. And chose something that represents them for you.

7.) Chose whatever other items you wish to put onto the altar. Like: wands, athame/swords, crystals/gems, herbs, salt, Book of Shadows/Grimoire(or have a special place for it), cauldron, pentacle, incense, drawing/crafts, chalice, jewelry, & whatever else.

TRUE LEGEND: HEADLESS HORSEMAN

“The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” & “Sleepy Hollow” TV show, just made-up fiction. Right? But if its not? What is its based on a real legend?

The Dullahan or Dullaghan (Gan Ceann, Irish for “without a head”, a type of fairy in mythology of Ireland. It is “depicted as a headless rider, usually on a black horse, who carries their own head in their arm. Usually, the Dullahan is male, but there are some female versions. It is said to be the embodiment of the Celtic God Crom Dubh. The mouth is usually in a hideous grin that touches both sides of the head. Its eyes are constantly moving about and can see across the countryside even during the darkest nights. The flesh of the head is said to have the color and consistency of moldy cheese. The Dullahan is believed to use the spine of a human corpse for a whip, and its wagon is adorned with funeral objects: it has candles in skulls to light the way, the spokes of the wheels are made from thigh bones, and the wagon’s covering is made from a worm-chewed pall or dried human skin. The ancient Irish believed that where the Dullahan stops riding, a person is due to die. The Dullahan calls out the person’s name, drawing away the soul of his victim, at which point the person immediately drops dead.”

“There is no way to bar the road against a Dullahan—all locks and gates open to them when they approach. They do not appreciate being watched while on their errands, throwing a basin of blood on those who dare to do so (often a mark that they are among the next to die), or even lashing out the watchers’ eyes with their whips.

Are Dullahan afraid of anything? Can they be driven away? Yes! Afraid of gold. And 1 gold pin can drive one away.

“HELLRAISER” TV SERIES

Are you a fan of “Hellraiser”? Either all or just some? Then you should be pleased to learned that there is a TV show in the works.

“Hellraiser” is based on the book “The Hellbound Heart” by Clive Barker. The producers on this project are: Roy Lee (“IT”, 2017; “The Departed”, 2006; “The Lego Movie”, 2014) and Dan Farah (“Ready Player One”, 2018; “Famous in Love”, 2017-2018; “Burden:, 2018). There is also a new “Hellraiser” movie in the works, being written by David S. Goyer.

Don’t know if this will be connected to the TV series or not. Or the TV series will be based on the existing lore. The series will either be an anthology or will expand on the existing lore. But do know it will be on HBO Max.

I for one would rather have the series expand on the already established lore & storylines. Anthologies are just NOT my thing.

RAW CHOCOLATE ESPRESSO PIE

Crust Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup pitted dates
1/2 cup raw almonds
1/2 cup shredded raw coconut
1/4 cup raw organic agave nectar
3 tablespoons raw coconut oil
2 teaspoons (Cacao Elixir Superfood Chocolate Powder)

Directions:

1.) Combine all ingredients into a food processor & pulse.

2.) Spray a pie pan or round cake pan with nonstick spray or coconut oil and using a spatula, flatten crust out in bottom.

3.) Rub spatula over mixture so that it is smooth and then place in freezer until filling directions are complete.

Filling Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup soaked raw cashews*
1/2 cup cold water
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon (Cacao Elixir Superfood Chocolate Powder)
1/4 cup brewed coffee
3 tablespoons raw organic agave nectar
3 pitted dates
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon espresso beans

Directions:

1.) Combine cashews & water in a blender & pulse until mixture is smooth.

2.) Add raw cacao, coffee, agave.

3.) Blend.

4.) Add dates & espresso beans.

5.) Remove crust from freezer & pour filling over top.

6.) Use a spatula to smooth out.

7.) Place in freezer or refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or until hard.

8.) Cut into slices

9.) Enjoy!

Avalon

Avalon, Ynys Avallach (Isle of the Apples), Isle of the Blessed, Isle of Mists. A land of mists and magick. A legend. And according to some a myth. But is it? No, it is very real.

“Avalon (/ˈævəˌlɒn/; Latin: Insula Avallonis, Welsh: Ynys Afallon, Ynys Afallach; literally meaning “the isle of fruit [or apple] trees”), sometimes written Avallon or Avilion, is a legendary island featured in the Arthurian legend. It first appears in Geoffrey of Monmouth‘s 1136 Historia Regum Britanniae (“The History of the Kings of Britain”) as the place where King Arthur‘s sword Excalibur was forged and later where Arthur was taken to recover from his wounds after the Battle of Camlann. It’s said that is the place where Arthur was taken to his final rest after fighting Mordred. Avalon was associated from an early date with mystical practices and figures such as Morgan le Fay.”

It is believed to be Glastonbury Tor. But I don’t believe it is. Because it is not that easy to find. It is hidden in the mists and by magick. For it is only found by those who know where to look.

THE DEVIL’S PRISON

In 2016, a group of archaeologists found a stone monument or platform in Petra, Jordan; about half a mile or 800 meters south of the ancient city. It is an Olympic-sized platform & 2 times as wide.

Now, what does this have to do with the supernatural?

Well, it is believed to have been built by the Nabateans (tribe of nomads) for the sole purpose of capturing & imprisoning the Devil & his host of Fallen Angels.

The Book of Enoch/Bible speaks of the bottomless pit, could this be the entrance to the pit? Is it only the lid? The description of the bottomless pit matches this stone platform in Petra.

It “has no known parallels to any other structure in Petra.”

Also it can’t be seen from the ground.

SANDMAN TV SHOW

The Sandman is a comic book series written by Neil Gaiman & published by DC Comics. It is also expected to be made into a TV show(series) on Netflix. But filming/production was delayed due to COVID-19.

SOCIETY & BEHAVIOR

Some research/advice for you on society & behavior of people in society.

Most of us are more apt to be restrained from doing something bad by the social convention that approves or disapproves of it than by any law against it.

There are certain behaviors that society approves of, but the law does not. And certain laws that the law deems correct, yet society does not. Sometimes both the law and society agrees and other times they don’t. Is it possible that your behavior also plays a role in this? “There are two types of basic human behavior. Innate behavior, which is automatic and exhibited by all individuals. Learned behavior, which is modified by experience and will vary.” (See Sources number 2). Some behaviors benefit society and/or the law, and some do not.

There is also a sociological study, in which the conclusion was that unmarried women that live with men are not as happy than married women. All because society doesn’t approve of it. “The study of 22,000 people from around the world found that British women who cohabited with men before they were married were slightly unhappier than married women, and that the most likely reason was because they had “violated: normal behavior and had to endure disapproving glances. The researchers also claimed that one of the possible reasons they were unhappy was because they were “pitied” for failing to persuade their man down the aisle, and they had low self-esteem” (See number 2 source)

In Conclusion: Society should not be a factor in how you wish to live your life. Make society work for you, not you work for society.
